Adventures in the States - Part I

I don't really have the time nowadays to write about all my experiences happening to us in the States, but those who remained at home might be interested in it. Therefore, let me entertain you with a series of photos, just to allow a little insight into our everydays.

This First Part will be about our adventurous flight. The other parts are not yet decided, though I have the strong feeling much of it will be about Caleb, Natalia and Ariana:).

After at least 5 hours waiting at the airport, finally we are looking forward to the take-off in the airplane itself.
Success! 2 hours delay resulted in leaving Hungary around 15.30 pm (instead of our scheduled time 13.15 pm)
Though we always fly by Boeing 747s, I have never seen such a long airplane wing before...
The cotton-like stuff beneath us seems to be snow, but actually, it is cloud, of course
The temperature must be freezing cold up here: estimations talk about minus 50-60 Celsius degrees. See the frost flowers on the window?
Oh-oh, this one looks like a big shothole...I hope there are no terrorists on THIS plane...

We saw awesome clouds resembling to snow...
...and rivers reflecting sunshine...
and clouds that were blinding us with their whiteness.
Nearing JFK airport due to heavy storms we were ordered to slow down in the air and to make a diversion which resulted in subsequent delays
However, by 19.40, being weary though, we managed to get out from the transit area and start our stay in America.
to be continued...
