The Life Of An Eye At The Exam Period

Fortunately, I've lived through this year's exam period, too. Although this time I only had one exam, my eyes during this active studying pre-exam period looked just like they used to in every year before an exam. Well, if everything goes well, there's only one more exam period in my life, and then a new chapter will open up for me.

Here are some moments of the life of a weary eye. Who is, moreover, MY eye. :)

(Do not worry, it looks a little better now. However, probably my hard thesis writing project will result in Bloody Mary eyes similar to this...or even worse...)

Here is the bloody and puffy, tired, (almost dog-tired) heavy-eyed and blear-eyed glaze of mine. A pure glaze, with shadows; a glazy gaze, with mist.

Our Precious Moments from December

This past year's December was very lively again for our family.

First of all, my beautiful little niece, a little angel, Natalia Kylie -whose first name means 'Christmas'- was born in health on the 16th of December, as an anniversary and pre-Christmas present to her parents and to the joy to all of us.

Secondly, after Christmas we visited our grandparents and though Grandma had a couple of tough days spent in hospital, we are very thankful and happy that by this New Year she seems to recover from her weakness and illness. Get well, Mama!

Thereinafter, I would like to show you moments from our Christmas celebrations.

Dec 24th

Everything started on Christmas Eve, with sparkling candlelights

and instead of Candles in the Wind, Candles at Christmas Eve at the Christmas table are those, which guaranteed the coziness of our celebration

and of course Hungarian Fish soup, one of the 'members' of our Christmas menue

The Eve went on with singing and listening to Christmas carols. And of course, with eating. A lots of eating. ;)

Dec 25th

The street in front of our house. The 25th of December miraculously started with snowing, despite the fact that NO SNOW was forecasted for Christmas...

Madonna would say: 'Papa, don't preach'...but MY Papa preaches. Fortunately.

We spent the whole day at Selyp, attended two services, one at 10 am and one at 2.30 pm. We also had a huge lunch with one of the families from the church.

on the way home the scenery -with the sunset- was simply irresistible. At least for me to take a few (or rather a dozen?) photos...:)

Dec 26th

On the evening of the 2nd day of Christmas we went to Újpest Baptist Church, my father's 'home church'
