Merry Christmas everybody!

The past few days passed by very quickly, and so many things happened that I can hardly believe that tomorrow it is already the 24th of December, Christmas Eve (and Caleb's 2nd Birthday as well:)). There are still several things to do, but this is natural: we are all in a Christmas hurry in these days; cooking, doing the Christmas-tree, wrapping the Christmas presents and trying to keep our nerves relaxed...

I would like to wish a Happy, Merry and Peaceful Christmas to all who read these words, hope your Christmas turns out bright!:)

It is unbelievable, but true: there is only 1 week 'til Christmas Eve!
These days I am continuously wandering in Budapest, enjoying the special athmosphere of the winter sales, Christmas programs, the awe-inspiring sights, lights, smells and tastes- and of course enjoying the several opportunities to take photos of all of these things and to share it with you as well. :)

See and have a taste of the way how Hungarian people prepare themselves and look forward to Christmas! :)

One of my favourites is this mug with the old-fashioned train on it, it is really cute;)(I've bought something very similar to this)

Huh, fortunately, everybody survived...and as an award, now they can go into the Gingerbread-house to meet the exclusive Hungarian Santa

Happy St. Nicholas Day!

Here in Hungary we have the custom of celebrating St. Nicholas (Santa Claus) on a separate day, on the 6th of December (unlike for example in America, where people see Santa only on Christmas Eve...poor children of those...)

Funny pictures by photoshop

A few days ago I have found -that is to say, I was shown- two interesting and very entertaining websites where people can upload their photos and participate in different photo shop techniques. I tried it out -though it took a couple of hours, time passed like minutes- and now I will share a few -or even more:)- photos I have created with the help of the system (this is an evidence that modern technology can be so fantastic).
Enjoy my little story -my evening tale- I have written to the pictures!

First of all, let me introduce you Mona Bruryah...oops, what happened with your eye make-up?! (there is something that even photo shop cannot fix?:))



Once upon a time, she was such a famous person that she was in the books,


and in the newspapers,


on cover pages,


and on TV.


Her photo was on the streets everywhere in Europe


and in America


...and her portrait was drawn by everyone on papers in Asia,

...and on the sandy ground in Africa.

All in all, she was a superman!

Or a superwoman...or at least, something like that...

...not to say that she was the most beautiful dreambride on the Earth...

...but unfortunately, there are some bad news...it turned out in Australia that she was one of the pirates of the Caribbean!


(though it's still a question, which one...this or that?)


and it unraveled that she had two types of 100 dollars in circulation with her face in Antarctica.




So now the police, the FBI and even the CIA is continuously searching for her!


Do you happen to know where she can be? Where could she run away?

Some astronauts claim to have seen her in the space,


while others say she must have had some plastic surgery that made her similar to:

P:S: Let us happily report that due to your help, finally we managed to catch her! Ooooor...him?!Hmm...what is that beard doing there?!

Well, the paper she is holding says: 'Miss, I haven't eaten for 6 days...'--yeah, now I understand..non-eating produces beards on females! Clear!

So, this was how the American (Hungarian) dream broke apart.

All of a sudden.


Her memory slowly faded away...

And today she lives only in the reflection of her beloveds' thoughts.


Game is over.

And my story has reached its end for today.

(And sorry for a non happy-end. But that's life.)
